Anderssen lost her virginity at age twenty and started her career in the adult entertainment industry by responding to an ad seeking actresses for a hardcore feature (she had sex for the third time in a porn movie). After failing to receive a visa to work in America so she could further her burgeoning career, Amy decided instead to move to London, England, where she worked as a contract girl for the company Bluebird Films under the name Amy Azurra.
